3D-Secure Service :

The 3D Secure system is a secure system for your online payments. It is a procedure for identifying the cardholder, to ensure the correct identity of the person making the payment.

Deliberation n°2018-303 of the CNIL :

“The CNIL has modified its recommendation concerning payment cards for the sale of goods or the provision of services at a distance (deliberation n°2018-303). Its position is evolving on the issue of retaining customers’ banking data beyond a transaction in order to facilitate their possible future purchases.

Default : no retention beyond the transaction

Since the entry into force of the European Data Protection Regulation (DPR), merchants must consider their payment system taking into account data protection principles by default and from the design stage.

In terms of payment for the sale of goods or the provision of services at a distance, the data strictly necessary to make a payment are by default :

The card number ;
The expiration date;
The visual cryptogram.

They must not be kept beyond the transaction. »
