Your data

Privacy policy

How Euro-CPAP uses the information needed for your purchases and enquiries.

Last updated: 29 September 2026.

1. Data controller and contact

The website euro-cpap.fr is operated by EUROPEA, SAS (SIRET 820 410 371 00018), 1175 route de la Colle, 06730 Saint-André-de-la-Roche. To ask about your personal data or exercise your rights: contact@euro-cpap.fr.

2. Data collected and why it is used

  • Orders and delivery: name, contact details, billing and delivery addresses, products ordered, amount, payment status and order history. This data is used to enter into and fulfil the sale, dispatch products through our shipping provider EnvoiDuNet, provide tracking information and handle after-sales support (legal basis: performance of the contract).
  • Payment: when you choose PayPal, information needed for the transaction is exchanged with PayPal. We receive payment confirmation and reference details; we do not ask you to send card details by form or email. PayPal also processes data under its own privacy policy (performance of the contract).
  • Customer account: if you create an account, your login details, contact information and order history facilitate purchases and access to your account (performance of the contract).
  • Contact and after-sales support: information you provide by form or email is used to answer your enquiry and support your order (performance of the contract or legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). Avoid sending detailed medical information in free-text messages; prescriptions and treatment settings are managed by your healthcare professional.
  • Invoicing, security and obligations: accounting records are retained to meet legal obligations; technical data such as IP addresses and connection logs may be used to protect the website and prevent abuse (legal obligation and legitimate interest).

Required checkout fields are indicated during the purchase process. Without this information, we cannot process or deliver the order. Account creation is optional when guest checkout is offered.

3. Recipients and service providers

Data is accessible to authorised EUROPEA personnel and, only for their assigned tasks, to host OVH, shop and email technical providers, PayPal for payment, shipping provider EnvoiDuNet and delivery carriers. It may be disclosed to authorities where legally required. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Retention periods

  • Order data remains accessible during the business relationship, then is archived for periods required by accounting, tax and legal defence obligations; invoices are retained for ten years.
  • Account data remains available while the account is used, then is deleted or archived according to applicable obligations. You may request deletion, subject to data that must legally be retained.
  • Contact correspondence is retained for the time needed to handle and follow up the enquiry, then deleted or archived depending on any associated order or dispute.
  • Logs and cookies are retained for a period proportionate to their purpose; third-party tracker durations depend on their settings and your choices.

5. Cookies and analytics

Cookies needed for the basket, payment, login and security enable the shop to function. Analytics and conversion extensions, including Google Analytics, are also present. Trackers that are not strictly necessary require your consent before being set; you may refuse or withdraw consent through the cookie management tool when available and through your browser settings. Refusing optional trackers must not prevent a purchase.

6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some international providers, particularly PayPal and Google, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers must be covered by a mechanism recognised under applicable regulations. You can contact us for information about safeguards associated with processing for which we are responsible.

7. Your rights

Subject to GDPR conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. You may also withdraw consent for the future. Email contact@euro-cpap.fr ; identity verification may be requested if there is reasonable doubt. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL.

8. Updates

This policy may be updated as the website's services or providers change. The date at the top identifies the published version.
